320 S. Weber St., Colorado Springs

Don’t know it? It’s two blocks off of Tejon St., Colorado Springs’ main drag. But 320 S. Weber ain’t no drag. It is actually the coolest craft beer venue ever.

Green Man will now inhabit a former event space called the Carter-Payne most recently used for weddings, concerts and wine tastings. But the history goes back farther than that as the building is the former AME Church, the first African-American church in Colorado Springs. Indeed, the Carter-Payne was built by hand by African-American parishoners in 1890 after the U.S. Army Core of Engineers cut rock from the Bear Creek quarry.
